happy new year everyone! all i can say is we hope 2012 is quiet with no major family events. as we are approaching the 1st anniversary of joanne’s stroke, it’s hard looking back on 2011 without trembling a bit. the biggest think we are thankful for when looking at 2011 is that she is still here.
we spent the last week of 2011 in winter park and my camera was off 99.9% of the time. woot! woot! but my iphone was used, so here is a sample of what our week was like….first time skiing for the kids, first time ice skating for ava, tubing, new year’s eve fireworks on the ski slopes, games, crafts, celebrating with friends, movies and sledding.
it was fabulous…but it’s time to get back into routine, back to school, and back to reality!
