air and space museum near dulles airport? definitely worth a look, especially if you are crazy about planes. glad i brought my wide angle lens, as the place is huge and even a wide angle lens doesn’t do it justice! i think the most amazing thing there for me to see is the space shuttle discovery. having dad/papa/retired aerospace engineer as your personal tour guide doesn’t hurt either.

We were at this museum JUST YESTERDAY. We took a family 4 day trip to Washington DC and the one thing my hubby wanted to see was this Air and Space Museum. We stayed at a hotel in Chantilly around the corner and after we went there we drove home to SC. Great to see such familiar pictures. We sure enjoyed it.
Stay safe and out of the fire. My parents and everyone is really having a time with the fires.
