private click class

some people learn better and faster in a one-on-one environment rather than a class. i am happy to offer one-on-one sessions where you can ask me ANYTHING photo related. i can walk you through how to use your camera, how to use photoshop, how i edit my photos, and we can even set up a photo session so we can go out and practice what we’re talking about from start to finish. sky is the limit!

one-on-one sessions last approximately 6-7 hours depending on how much information and material you would like to cover, and can take place on a weekday (if a grandma available to watch my kiddos) or on a saturday.

one of the benefits to a private click class is that we have mulitple discussions before our time together to map out exactly what it is that you want to learn and discuss. the day will be completely customized to your wants and needs, and we’ll agree on the days’ outline before we get together!

and here’s another idea….if you have a friend that is in the same place as you as far as photography skills, gear etc…..you can double up and split the cost. nice. or….i can find a good match for you!

Kristen’s photography class was a fantastic experience. I began the class knowing slightly more than how to turn on my Nikon and left feeling extremely confident in my new photographic abilities! In fact, so confident- the following morning I listed my D5000 on craigslist hoping to “trade up” to a more professional model. Kristen is an amazing teacher. So organized and thorough. So easy to follow and understand. My family and I are relocating to Maine in a few weeks after spending 5 wonderful years in Colorado. The day I spent with Kristen ranks in the top 10 of my favorite, most memorable experiences of our Colorado adventure! The hand-sewn notebook covers were adorable, her shabby-chic decorating style eludes to her artistic eye for beautiful photographs. Kristen made me feel welcomed and at home right away. I feel very blessed to have gotten to know Kristen and experience her class. Her dog is so adorable!

Wow! Kristen’s private click class exceeded all of my expectations. She is a natural teacher ~ organized, comfortable, patient, and encouraging. Your knowledge of your camera builds throughout the day until you have this giant “A-HA” moment when you are shooting in “M” ~ with everything coming together and making sense. Kristen is so creative: her house is amazingly eclectic, her cooking is YUM, and her photography is an inspiration and reminder as to why you are there. Thank you, Kristen!

LOVED the private click class!! I learned more that day in all my years of being interested in photography!! I look at photography in a whole new light!! Would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn in a fun, structured and awesome learning environment! Oh the food was great too-I would have been happy with PB&J!!

I was lucky enough to participate in Kristen’s private click class with one other fabulous lady. I was first impressed by the coordination prior to the class. We prepared questions for her and also got together some of our favorite photos. And then when we arrived, there was a schedule and everything…not to mention that we got some pretty sweet notebooks with cute little covers and Bic Cristal Pens. I’m an engineer, so this attention to detail was right up my alley. I had SO MUCH FUN (and the food was fantastic, which was very much appreciated by this pregnant lady)! We learned sooo much and I left feeling more confident that I can take better pictures. We went on a photo shoot with two adorable little kids which was very helpful and we definitely had some “ah-ha!” moments throughout the day. Wonderful class and I highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was with the two on one click class. Everything about it was amazing: the food, the class, the shoot, Kristen, everything! I learned more in one day than I have in all of my photography experience. I have a lot more confidence and am taking amazing pictures. Thanks Kristen!
